Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day with loved ones! Mine was nice even though I had to work. I was going through my nail pic folder and found my nails from last Christmas and decided to share them with you.

Merry Christmas!

Did my final set of Christmas nails today. They were inspired by Pinterest.

I used acrylic for the candy cane stripes and the santa hat and then stamped the other nails with my Cheeky #24 plate.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Silver Trees

We have been getting a lot of snow here lately so I used that for inspiration for my next mani.

I did my tips in a blue glitter acrylic mix I made and on the ring finger and my thumbs I faded that mixture over white acrylic. Then I stamped snowflakes on my ring fingers and did a tape mani for my trees on my thumbs.

Although I sure do enjoy the snowflakes on my nails, I think we have had enough of the real stuff lol!!

Grinchmas

Gotta love that ole Grinch! I did my nails last year in a Grinch theme and did them again this year.

This is last year's set. Handpainted him on and did lights on all the other nails.

This year I stamped on snowflakes and did another handpainted Grinch. On the the left thumb I used an acrylic mold to add a heart. He kinda looks like The Grouch but that's ok, they might be cousins lol!

Snow Flurries!

The Black Friday nails are already off and now I have some snow flurry nails! I did a blue sponging on a white base. I used 2 shades of blue and kinda just dabbed them around. After that I stamped on some snowflakes from Cheeky, big plate L, and added some random white dots. Topped it with a glitter coat and then a fast dry top coat.

I have so many winter/Christmas designs I want to try and only so much time! Looks like I may be changing them a lot the next month!

Have a great evening!!

Black Friday

Black Friday...the day after Thanksgiving where people flock to the stores and try to find all the best deals out there. No thanks for me lol! I'll do my shopping after that! So I came up with some nails for it, I will be working but thank goodness not at some store that is doing all the crazy sales!

Good luck too all you shoppers!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here in the U.S. we are celebrating Thanksgiving today. So in honor of it I did some more snoopy nails. They looked way better in person and I think I need to make myself a light box for better photos, another project for me lol.

I think I'm going to have to look the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving show up today and have the family watch it. It's always been a favorite of mine!

May you have a very Happy Thanksgiving!!

Turkey Time

I'm currently planning out my Thanksgiving design for the upcoming week but wanted to share my nails from last year.

This was one of my first attempts at freehand painting on my nails. He's a little crude but you can tell he's a turkey lol. I added some dots to the other nails to tie them in. I will post my new ones as soon as I get them done :)

Thanksgiving Snoopy!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and soon it will be time to watch that classic "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving". So in honor of that I tried to do a Snoopy nail. My camera is not showing this at it's best ofcourse. But all in all I'm really happy with my Snoopy.

Those macro settings can sure be evil lol, he's way cuter in person!

Leaves are Falling

My favorite time of year is Fall! I just love when the leaves start to change into so many beautiful colors!

Today's post is a little tree in the stages of changing colors. I used my practise (creeper) hand. Started with a gold base , painted on a tree and dotted on some leaves in green, yellow, orange and red.

They did streak a little when I added the top coat but I kinda like the effect. I added some dots on the edge for fallen leaves.

Neon Dots

I decided to change up my dots and do someting brighter and more cheerful. I grabbed 5 different neons and dotted away!

These colors remind me of my sister inlaw! She loves bright colors!

Enjoy your day!

Tie Dye Watermarble

Oh watermarble! I love the look of them but it took me forever to learn! I always create such a mess trying too do them. I have watched a ton of tutorials on it and I finally have kinda gotten the hang of it. This is the first water marble I did that I was actaully happy with.

I started with a white base , then sponged on some different colors creating a sort of tie dye effect. Then the scary part! I used a black and a clear shimmer for the marble. It turned out pretty neat and I hated it when it was time to take it off.

The most important part I have learned is to use bottled water, it makes a huge difference!

Leopard Spots

Last week I did my nails in a glitter acrylic. When I purchased it on Amazon it looked like a nice red glitter but in person it's more of a rust color. It turned out to be the perfect background for some leopard spots. I used my dotting tool to add some gold spots and then went around them with a black nail art pen.

I loved the color combintion! Bringing out my inner big cat haha!
Roarrrr :)
Have a great day!

Dotted Up!

I just love doing polka dots! My husband bought me a set of dotting tools last year and they sure have gotten a lot of use. I recently did a plain set and pink and white acrylics and I had to do something to liven them up. After looking through my stamping plates and being at a complete loss I turned to my dotting tools. I used a brown polish and a rose polish and made dots on top of dots with smaller ones sprinkled in between.

I am really happy with how they turned out and am going to try this again in some different colors. I think red & green would be super fun for the Christmas season.

Hunting Season

Not sure what hunting season is going on right now in central Illinois but I'm sure there's something being hunted right now! My nephew said I should do camo nails , well I have done some in the past and will share them now!

This set I did using a dotting tool and 4 colors and then on the feature finger I used a neon orange.

This set has real leaves and grasses incased in clear acrylic over glitter acrylics. This one was inspired by Pinked Out Salon on Facebook. Check her out , she's fantastic!

Happy hunting!
